Immunoglobulin Replacement Therapy in patients with Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders. A lot of anecdotal evidence exists as to the effectiveness, or lack thereof, of this exorbitantly expensive antibody treatment commonly referred to by PID patients as "Liquid Gold." There is a body of research, albeit a small one, which clearly paints the picture of effectiveness in terms of verifiable and measured statistics and outcomes. So what do IVIg and SubQ really represent? A cure as many initially think and hope? Or simply a good form of partial-treatment, minus the "cure?"
